| | Chris Sep 8, 2010 | 7 Cocetti Sonoma Zinfandel - Cocetti's Fell in love with the Zinfandel over the long weekend. A great lasting finish of plum, spice and coco, I made fresh pizza dough then kicked out some amazing Sicilian pizza. Don’t be fooled by my Polish last name, I am half Sicilian.Yesterday, I prepared a broiled stream trout with Pepper relish and Grilled Apple Pears accompanied with the Grape Feet White blend. Wow the wine was amazing, great mouth feel, crisp, clean fruit flavor spectrum. I am very pleased thus far and can not wait to pair the other wines! |
| | TimL Sep 1, 2010 | 7 Cocetti Napa Sauvignon Blanc - Not sure if you have seen the latest Total Beverage "Drinks" magazine, on the back page Roome Paget picked your 2007 Sauvignon Blanc as his Autumn Favorites. This is what he had to say "it may be autumn but I'm not ready to give up on summer. This is smooth on the palate with a finish that makes you want another sip.......Great with a light picnic lunch while you enjoy the fall aspen and bugling elk." Thought it was a nice pick and figured the Cocetti clan would enjoy it. "Stay thirsty my friends" |
| | DickC Aug 23, 2010 | Cocetti Grape Feet Red - For the last 12 yrs, me and 12 college buddies and their families have a reunion. We each bring a bottle of wine and do not disclose the name by keeping them in a brown bag. On the last night of the weekend we have a blind tasting of all the wine. We each pick the best wine and then reveal the name at the end party. I brought Grape Feet Red this year. Well…. Cocetti Grape Feet Red won this year - hands down. It wasn't even close. |
| | Vino100.comD Aug 5, 2010 | Cocetti Grape Feet Red - Vino100.com has picked Cocetti Grape Feet Red and Grape Feet White as two of the top 100 wines under $25 dollars. Selling at $12.75 on-line and $9.99 retail you can not go wrong. |
| | RobH Aug 5, 2010 | 7 Cocetti Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - This is one of the best wines I have ever had at this price point. Tastes well above it's price. Beautiful label. I often give the C-Cab to friends for that reason. I would blind taste C-Cab at $30 a bottle. |
| | WineGlobe May 28, 2010 | 6 Cocetti Napa Chardonnay - A classic expression of Napa Chardonnay; this rich and powerful wine opens with aromas of citrus flowers, coconut, butterscotch and roasted almonds. On the palate the wine combines butter and oak with layers of peach, mango and honey and a touch of mineral on the finish. To fully enjoy the rich intensity of this wine, serve it with simply prepared succulent dishes such as broiled monk fish, braised pork with apples, or salmon with tarragon aioli. |
| | DanM May 25, 2010 | Cocetti Grape Feet White - I also had the Grape Feet White at the Davidson's tasting this weekend. What a refreshing blend. I would call this a pourch pounder!!! Take it out on the pourch and pound it. The Gewürztraminer adds just a bit of sweetness, not too much. I bought one and chilled it just a bit, mowed the lawn and pounded it on the pourch with some cheeze and crackers. I like to say it too - GRAPE FEET!!!!!! So fun! |
| | DanM May 25, 2010 | Cocetti Grape Feet Red - Had the Grape Feet Red this weekend at the Davidson's tasting. I am very impressed,it is SOOOOO drinkable. It is fruity, bold and smooth. I loved the fruity nose, the black cherry on it is bold and the finish is smooth. I am a fan and Grape Feet Red will be my table wine of chioice for as long as I can find it. |
| | KateD May 12, 2010 | 7 Cocetti Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - My neighborhood liquor store used to carry Cocetti (my favorite), and went through new ownership and now has lost it. Wadsworth and Chatfield. Can a rep please stop by so I can have access to my sole mate again?! |
| | MichaelV Apr 27, 2010 | 5 Cocetti Napa Cabernet Sauvignon - I have a bottle of the 2005 vinter's reserve cab. Is it ready to drink or should I wait. Also can I have the price that is originally sold for? I recently visited your website and become interested in your vineyard and wines. Thank you |
